Everyone Wants A Piece Of Sam Smith On Their New Album Cover

Just a day before the release of their new single, "To Die For," Sam Smith announced their accompanying third studio album is set to drop on May 1.

In a post shared on social media, the chart-topper, 27, unleashed the cover art for the set, which features a close-up of their face, highlighting their sparkling blue eyes, and several different hands grasping at their face from all around. "Gorgeous people, I’m so happy to see you all so excited about my new song, so I wanted to share another surprise," they kicked off the caption. "My THIRD album TO DIE FOR will be yours on May 1st!!!! You’ll be able to preorder tomorrow. I am more proud of this album than anything I’ve ever done."

Smith went on to confess that they found liberation in recent years and that's helped inspire their pen game. "I’ve really set myself free the last two years whilst writing this and I hope you can dance and relate to these stories. It’s all for you, always xx," they concluded the message.

In another post, Smith teased the comeback track with a video showcase a wig shop with several different styles up for display. In addition to the release, Smith has launched a pop-up shop in London, full of wigs that fans can actually try on for those Instagram-worthy shots. The To Die For Shop is open today from 11 - 5 and Friday from 10 - 1. It's located at 52 Brewer Street. Fans can RSVP for a special event on Friday here.
