How Do You Know If It's A Cold Or The Flu?

Alot of my coworkers are sneezy and congested. Hope it's not contageous! When I feel those things coming on, I eat lots of kiwi fruit. Don't know why but it seems to help me right away.

So how do you know if you have the flu or a cold? They both share symptoms of a sore throat, coughing, congestion and sneezing. However, if your symptoms come on fast and hard, it means you have the flu.

Doctors warn that infants and adults should see a doctor within 24 hours if they have a high-fever, chills and body aches. If you begin experiencing dizziness and chest pain it could be a sign the flu has turned into something deadly and immediate medical care is advised.

The CDC urges everyone to get their flu shot to best protect themselves from the virus and say it is not too late.

Your neighborhood Kroger can help you stay healthy AND help a worthy cause:

Every year a third of a million people are hospitalized for flu-related  illnesses. Don’t forget to get your flu shot at your Kroger Pharmacy!  With every shot, Kroger will donate one meal to Feeding America. One  shot, one meal, now through April 1, 2018 at your neighborhood Kroger.
