Here's a daring "tail" of rescue that's sure to warm you heart. Several firefighters and other rescue workers banded together in a Charlotte, North Carolina, neighborhood on Thursday to rescue a puppy that got stuck six feet below street level in a sewer pipe. Crew workers reportedly tore the road up and installed a trench box for digging, while HAZMAT workers sent oxygen down to the dog and used cameras to keep an eye on the puppy inside the pipe. The 6-week-old toy poodle, named "MJ" for "Monet Junior," got stuck in the pipe around 7 a.m. after reportedly falling through a six-inch hole in his owner's front yard. The owners also tried to throw treats to MJ to keep him calm, but the pup seemed to be fine; in fact, he was reportedly "very active" in the pipe before being rescued just before 10 a.m.
